The coalescing oil separator is mainly used for removing oil from production water in oil fields. It utilizes the adsorption properties of the coalescing packing and the physical effect of gravity separation. Its main function is to separate dispersed oil and floating oil. The coalescing packing in this device creates conditions for collision and coalescence of small oil droplets, thereby promoting the combination of small oil particles in the wastewater into larger oil droplets, allowing oil and water to be separated. It has the characteristics of high efficiency (>95%), short residence time (35% of that of conventional oil-water separators), small floor area (50% of that of conventional oil-water separators), simple maintenance, stable operation, and long service life.
